Chapel St Leonards is an ideal place to base tour holiday or weekend break. Within easy reach of the holiday towns of Skegness, Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe, the market towns of Louth and Alford, the nearbye villages of Ingoldmells and Anderby Creek, working windmills and the wolds.
At Chapel point there is now the new North Sea Observatory, offering fantastic views over the seascape and is the gateway to the coastal country park.

Where the country meets the sea
Chapel St Leonards is a holiday village situated just off the A52 some 7 miles north of Skegness. It boasts a wide range of tourist attractions including concert venues, amusements and a wide range of shops and restaurants. There is also a large selection of pubs and clubs to suit everyone.
Originally named after the Chapel dedicated to Saint Leonard, the village can trace its history back to the early 1500s.
Now popular with hundreds of holiday makers who have their own caravans sited on one of the many sites around the village.
The village green has been redesigned to resemble the deck of a ship with its own bell tower and figurehead, with picnic benches dotted around the green its an ideal place to relax in the sun and enjoy a traditional fish and chip lunch.
Regularly served by bus service numbers 1 and 59 from Skegness, it is an ideal place to spend a holiday.
The purpose-built marine observatory at Chapel Point, Chapel St Leonards, offers views of the dunes and sea and the animals that call them home.
The North Sea Observatory offers all year round facilities for families and those enjoying a nice quiet winter walk along the beach. The building includes information and exhibitions on the local areas rich natural history, an art space, a café and public toilets, and serves as an impressive gateway to the Coastal Country Park.
